I have fallen in love with these wools, woven in Yorkshire from British wool. The colours are soft and subtle and because they are so finely woven they do not fray as easily as some other wools. I have used them to make throws – a good project for bleak winter days. I have made a jacket embellished with appliqué leaves and smaller items like our brooch kits and hearts. They are however expensive so I tend to sell them in 12 inch (30cm) squares in packs grouped by colour. Please contact us for further information.
We have some packs of the Summer Pastel Throw. It contains 36 x 8 inch squares plus 36 x 4.5 inch squares. The pack does not include the backing. I have used a cream boiled wool for this as it is also 100% wool, adds to the warmth of the throw and does not cause the throw to slip when in use. Please contact us for further information.
